Five stars!!! An unforgettable experience and highly recommended!

My wife Lorrie and I recently attended a ring-making workshop with Blonde Store in Belconnen, Canberra, and it was one of the most enjoyable and meaningful experiences we have shared together.

As we prepare for our vow renewal in September, we wanted our rings to be something truly personal. We had previously completed a ring-making workshop in Dublin during our world trip in September 2024, so we already had some experience and a point of comparison. We can honestly say that the Blonde Store workshop was exceptionally well organised and perfectly suited to us.

Before starting our actual rings, we made a smaller practice ring to learn the techniques and become familiar with the tools. This gave us confidence before moving on to our final rings. We then selected our ring sizes, chose our preferred patterns and finishes, and worked through the process step by step with excellent guidance from the team.

We decided to upgrade from silver to gold before commencing the workshop and are absolutely delighted that we did. The finished rings are beautiful, but what makes them truly special is knowing that we made them ourselves.

The workshop ran for around two hours and was the perfect mix of learning, creativity and fun. The instruction was patient, clear and encouraging throughout, making the experience enjoyable regardless of previous jewellery-making experience. The atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming and professional, and we shared plenty of laughs along the way.

We left with more than just rings. We left with wonderful memories and a story that we will be able to tell every time we look at our hands.

Decided to book in as a birthday treat after seeing the class online. It was so much fun - great to learn a new craft, the instructors were super helpful and it feels great seeing the ring come to life through the wax. Feels like I’ve made an heirloom that I’ll treasure for the rest of my life. Highly recommend!

I did this class with three of my girlfriends last weekend and it was SO much fun! The instructions of what to do were very clear, everyone working was so lovely and helpful, and we made some really gorgeous rings. Cannot wait to receive my adorable little silver ring, such a special and fun experience <3

I was super intimidated to do this class alone expecting there to be lots of couple and groups but the process is so easy to lose yourself in and everyone was super friendly so it’s still totally worth doing with it’s just you!

The teachers were amazing and such a relaxed atmosphere to take your time and produce your own special rings!
